Big brothers!
Last Tuesday, April 17th, I had my first prenatal appointment. I was basket case all day waiting for my appt at 430! This was the first time in 3 pregnancies that I have made it to my first appt. We got into the office and had an ultrasound. We saw the heartbeat!! Then he turned up the volume on the machine and we heard the heart beat too!! Soo amazing and exciting! Anyway, we decided that we should tell the boys about it this time since things were looking good and a lot of other people knew. We had bought the boys all tshirts that read "Big Brother" and gave each of them a gift bag with the shirt inside. They all opened it not having any idea why they were getting a random present. When they saw the shirts they were confused at first until we asked how it was possible for Colton to be a big brother. Once they figured it out, they were very excited. They asked lots of questions and were all hoping for a baby sister. All three agreed that they did not need another brother. Dylan even went to the extent of saying no more heathen brothers haha! So they went back to their mothers house last week trying to think of names for the baby. I'm excited to see what they came up with over the past week! They will be great big brothers, boy or girl!

Catch up!
Creating a blog has been something I have wanted to do for a while now. Almost like a diary, something to keep track of life events, emotions, and all other happenings. I was going to wait until the little pumpkin seed growing in my belly was a little bigger but decided to start now...
So I have been nervous to do this due to fear of jinxing a good thing. I have decided that as long as I remain positive the rest is in Gods hands now..I am still not going to announce this pregnancy for a while but decided that writing now can't hurt anything.
A little catch up for those who do not know...Derek and I have two children who unfortunately did not get to grow and share in this life with us. I, however, am confident that these two angel babies are in heaven hanging out with all of our grandparents and lost loved ones. They are in great hands until the day we can meet them for the first time.
We have now been blessed with a third pregnancy. The Dr. immediately put me on a high dose of progesterone. I had my first prenatal appt on April 17th. It was a horribly nerve wracking day because I had not had good luck in the past with ultrasounds. Thankfully, this turned out different! We were able to see and hear our babies heart beating. It was an amazing sound! And a great relief to my nerves. I finally knew something was going right inside of my body! So for now I will keep praying that everything continues to go well...
6 weeks 5 days...and counting. :)
