Busy busy busy!!

June has been a crazy busy month! School is finally out and the boys and I are enjoying our summer break. Zach made the all-star team for baseball so he has been busy with practices and games. Unfortunately his team lost tonight topic them out of the running to go to districts. It was a heartbreaker and Zachy was crushed. So now things will slow down again for a month until football practice starts in August. Zach and Dylan both signed up for football this year so it'll be crazy, but fun! Colton is going to be playing soccer so that will be starting towards the end of summer also! Always on the go! Dylan just had his ninth birthday last week...hard to believe he was only 5 when I met him! Times flying and they are growing fast! As for the little bun in my oven, no news...which is probably good news! We have our next appt on July 18th and we get to find out if it is a boy or a girl! I can not wait to find out! We are struggling with boy names...but if it's a girl her name will probably be Brooklyn Ann Watkins. The boys are excited to find out and are all still hoping for a girl! Although, I think they are getting used to the idea that it could be a boy! Soo right now I am 17 weeks and 3 days! Phew...we are getting there...Ive been getting horrible headaches everyday, but other than that can't complain much! Keep us in your prayers please!

Time for tears...

So throughout this pregnancy I have been extremely emotional. I feel like I cry all the time! Two of the most random times I have found myself crying (and when I say crying...I mean tears running down my cheeks crying) were when I was by myself and had no reason to be crying. The first was pretty early in the pregnancy and I was driving to work in the morning. I drove past a local deli..parrishs..and the owner was outside hanging up the American flag. I burst into tears and thought to myself how patriotic that was! Then I tout about all the Americans driving to work every morning and cried a little harder...ridiculous I know!! The second one just happened the other day. I was at Zachs baseball game and there was a boy on the team who hit a grand slam...well the boys mother went nuts cheering and screaming for him. I'm not sure why but I thout it was so sweet I started crying!! Lol again..ridiculous! There have been many more but those are the most memorable so far! It's gonna be a long 6 more months! :)

A horrible scare!

On Tuesday June 5th I had a horrible scare that shook me pretty bad. I noticed while in the bathroom that I had spotted a little bit. That is exactly how my first two miscarriages started. I immediately panicked and thought the worst. I ran into the living room and told Derek but was stuck because it was after 5 and the doctors office was closed. On top of that, I had to be at the senior banquet to set up and was running late by this time. So in tears I left for the banquet and told Derek I would let him know how things were nd what I was going to do. I was a nervous wreck all night so my only option was to go to the emergency room. I left for the emergency room around 8 and Derek and my mom met me there. I got in quickly and was sent right up to ultrasound...after blood work of course. This was the first time I got to see the ultrasound from an ultrasound tech and not my doctor. She was also able to do it on my belly at this point...14 weeks...and not internally. It was awesome! The baby was doing great! It measured the correct size and was moving and dancing around so much she had a hard time getting the heartbeat reading. When the little peanuts finally held still she found the heart rate was 158. It was awesome to see the baby moving around and bending its arms and legs. The tech gave us an awesome picture of the baby tucked in the corner of my uterus with its legs propped up on the side all stretched out! So cute! So needless to say, everything was fine and they found nothing wrong in the ultrasound, blood work, or cultures they did. Not sure what it says from but hopefully it stays away until after the baby is born! Keep us in your prayers!

Baby just chillin out in the womb..feet up and all! :)
