Boy have things changed! The house is coming along great!! We have new siding, windows, and roof! The addition is up, interior walls are built, and now they are working on the inside. They say it should be completely done in about three weeks! Hopefully all goes well and it gets done soon. I cant wait to have a nursery for Brooklyn, a new master bedroom, and a second bathroom in the house!!
The boys are doing great...sports have slowed down a little now. Zach just finished his basketball and indoor baseball season this past weekend. He had a great season and really enjoys playing. He's good at basketball too...even though height is not on his side! Colton is still playing indoor soccer...that doesn't end until April...just in time for outdoor soccer and baseball to pick up! All three boys are playing baseball this spring so we will be very busy with practices and games. It seems we will probably be living at the little league field. I fear that Brooklyn will watch her brothers play so many sports that she will never want to play lol.
Oh Brooklyn...Brooklyn...Brooklyn...she is HUGE! Getting so so big, so so fast! She is now 2 months old and has grown so much! Her pictures from one month and two months are significantly different!
At two months Brooklyn has really started to show her personality! I think she is going to be a happy-go-lucky, fun-loving, sassy, drama queen!
She had her two month appointment today...and the doctor says she is doing great! She weighed 13 lbs 10.5 ounces and was 23 1/2 inches. She is in the 95th percentile for height and weight! BIG GIRL!! <3 She had to get her first round of shots today. We choose to spread them out so she got some today and we will go back in a few weeks to get the rest. She did pretty well...cried for a few minutes but nothing crazy..still broke my heart! She acted normal the rest of the day...not extra cranky or sleepy so that made me feel better!
At two months:
* Brooklyn is still busy busy busy...always moving and looking around.
* She never sits still...even when occupied by something she is still moving her hands and feet. :)
* She smiles real smiles now! She will smile at people and sounds. She tries to laugh but hasn't quite got the hang of it yet. I love when she smiles when first seeing me in the morning.
* She is most definitely a morning person! She is all smiles when she wakes up!
* She still gets cranky around 8:30 and fights sleep until finally falling asleep around 11.
* She started sleeping through the night!! YAHOO!! She started at 7 weeks and has slept through the night ever since!! Usually from about 11:00 pm until 6:30-7:00 am! Love!
* She is a drooling machine! She likes to blow bubbles and drool all over herself and whoever is holding her!
* Her hair is getting thicker and a few strands are getting longer.
* She hates to wear hats but doesn't mind head bands.
* She drinks about 6-7 ounces every 4-5 hours :)
* She is wearing 3-6 or 6 month clothing..
* She loves to try and eat her hands
* She loves getting a bath and now kicks and splashes in the tub :)
* She refuses to sleep flat on her back for more than 15 minutes...the crib will be a challenge
* She LOVES watching Disney Junior...especially Mickey Mouse! It calms her down in the middle of a crying fit!
* She is all about the drama...I swear she is trying to talk already! She makes more noises, grunts, and groans that any baby I have ever been around. She gives attitude when she something is not just right. She knows how to use that bottom lip to get what she wants!
* She has the best facial expressions and makes me laugh everyday!
* She sits up in her bumbo and in her boppy.
* Holds her head by herself with no help
* She is the love I never knew existed <3
