3 months!!

Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brooklyn...this sweet girl amazes me more and more each day.  My love grows for her every single day.   Unfortunately I had to return to work a few weeks ago.  I have been back for about 3 weeks now.  It was pretty tough at first but wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  I am lucky in that I have the comfort of knowing she is home safe and sound with her daddy, and I get to come home at lunch to visit her...unless she is sleeping of course! I love coming home and seeing a huge smile on her face when she sees me.

She is getting so big! She weighed in at 16 pounds even today!  Holy cow!  She changes and grows everyday and it completely amazes me.  I love to watch her explore her new world and learn.  She started eating solid foods last week (On St. Patrick's Day).  The first food she tried was bananas.  She was not a huge fan of it.  About a week earlier she started eating brown rice cereal before bedtime.  Now she is eating bananas and squash mixed with cereal and formula about 3 times a day.  She loves her squash but is still unsure of the bananas.  This afternoon she ate a small bowl of squash and a small bowl of bananas!  She did awesome.  I do have to confess though that I have to trick her into swallowing her food by alternating the spoon with food and her pacifier.  Without the pacifier she just giggles and laughs and spits it all out lol...its pretty funny to watch.  I think she is starting to get the hang of it though!

We have her nursery all set up now so she is starting to use her crib for naps and hopefully in the next week or two we will have her in there at night time!  Right now she spends the night in her rock n' play in our bedroom.  It feels good to be sleeping in a bed again! Brooklyn's Aunt Carrie painted her walls with an awesome blossom tree!  I love it, its really cute!

So at 3 months...

Soo busy! Addition done!

Time is flying by and I cant seem to find time to keep caught up on this.  We have been really really busy with the addition, work, boys, and baby. The boys are done with sports for now...well except Colton.  His indoor soccer is still going on.  He tried out and made a travel soccer team out of Elmira called the Soaring Caps.  He loves it and learns a lot there.  All the boys signed up for little league this year.  Colton tried out for minors and made it so him and Dylan are both on the same team this year, which makes it nice for us with practices and games.  Zachary tried out and made majors so he is a step up this year.  They are all excited to get started and I have come to the realization that my entire summer will consist of practically living at the little league field!  Then football and soccer start all over again!  Brooklyn is going to watch her brothers in so many sports she is never going to want to play lol!

The addition is FINALLY done!!  They are just finishing up a few small things here and there.  The boys are all moved into their new rooms and are loving having their own space.   We got all our furniture moved into our new room and finally got Brooklyn a nursery!  She loves rocking in her glider but isnt a huge fan of the crib yet.  Thats going to take some getting used too.

It feels good to finally be getting the house back to normal!  I was so tired of junk piling up and having no where to put anything.  Most of it is cleaned up now and all I have left to do is mop the dust from the floors from the dry wall.
