I cant believe how fast the time is flying.  My sweet baby girl is 4 months old already!  She amazes me everyday and my love grows for her more and more.  I couldn't imagine living my life without her....my heart goes out to anyone who has ever lost a child because I can't not imagine their pain.  I pray for peace for them.  A child is such an amazing gift from God. I don't think I could completely understand this feeling until I had a child of my own.  Now I know its the most amazing feeling in the world.

So Brooklyn is growing like a weed!  She's getting bigger and stronger everyday.  The weather is getting nicer so I try to get her outside as much as possible.  We will be spending lots of time outside this spring and summer.  The boys are all involved in little league this season so we will be living at the ball park!  I sure hope she likes it, because we won't have much choice!  She loves going for walks and riding in her stroller, so I'll probably just be pushing her around the park all afternoon lol.  I can't wait to get her into a pool and float around with her!

So at 4 months my little Brookie Boo...
* is loving the spring weather
* still loves loves loves listening to music, especially in church!
* is still loving her swing and rock n play
* loves watching Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins, and Doc McStuffins...or anything on Disney Jr.

* is weighing in at 18 pounds even!!
* is wearing 6-9 month clothes or 6-12 month clothes...most regular 6 month are too small :(
* was sleeping in her crib through the night but now likes to wake up every few hours while laying flat....but not while sleeping elevated...I think due to teething

* is also eating squash, carrots, peaches, and brown rice cereal
* sits in her high chair like a big girl
* is starting to reach and grab at things...especially my hair, necklaces, bracelets, etc

* is putting anything and everything that she gets into her hands into her mouth
* is drooling like crazy!!
* loves chewing on her teethers
* is smiling all the time

* thinks the boys are hysterical

Spring has sprung!!

Spring is finally here and I couldn't be more excited to get out of the house and get some fresh air!  I was excited to get Brooklyn out of the house too.  She had never been out of the house without being in her car seat...except the one time we put her in the snow lol.  She loves being outside, especially in her stroller going for a walk!  She's big enough now to sit in the front so she loves that even more because she can see everything!  She sits there and looks around the whole time we are walking.  I can't wait for this summer when I can get her into the pool!  Hopefully she likes the water as much as the boys and I do!  I think she will since she loves her baths!

Colton turns 8!!

Colton turned 8 years old on April 3rd!  Its hard to believe that he was only 3 years old when I first met him.  He has grown up so much and is becoming a bright, funny, and caring boy.  He was super excited for his birthday this year, as every kid is.  He knew Nana and Poppa were getting him something that they knew he would LOVE but he had no idea what it was!  As most know, Colton, and the rest of us, besides Zach, all love watching Duck Dynasty.  Well Nana and Poppa ordered Colton a duck call from the Duck Commanders and had it engraved with his name!!  It also came with an autographed page that they framed for him!  He was super excited and made a whole lot of noise that night!  I was surprised we didn't have a flock of ducks in our backyard!

Aunt Shell and Uncle Andy also got Colton something from the Duck Commanders!  They got him a baseball type tee shirt that he was pretty pumped about!

Colton got a ton of cool stuff, including legos, under armour, building sets, a soccer ball, and a soccer ball chair for his room!  He loved all of it.. He had a great birthday filled with family, fun, cake, and pizza! Happy 8th Birthday Colty Bolty!

Easter 2013

It was Brooklyn's first Easter and we had a great day!  Brooklyn woke up bright and early and found that the Easter Bunny had left her a basket!!  She got a monkey blanky/burp cloth, a teether, a Minnie Mouse rattle, a few hair bow accessories, and a sleeper.  She was pretty excited as you can tell lol

Then we got ready and headed to church.  Brooklyn loves church.  I think she likes the music and all of the stained glass windows.  Father Glenn is pretty awesome too.  She smiles at him every time he talks to her.

After church we met Derek's family at Tomasso's for Easter breakfast. We picked up the boys on our way to breakfast since they had been at their mother's house.  Brooklyn slept through most of breakfast and only woke up after everyone had eaten.

After breakfast we headed to Nana and Poppa's for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Brooklyn wasn't very good at hunting this year but she had fun anyway.  The boys on the other hand LOVE it and ran around like crazy trying to get the most candy, money, and prizes.

After the hunt we attempted to get some family pictures.  It was disastrous with so many kids and adults! Especially kids that do not like having their picture taken and make what should be a two minute process turn into an hour long ordeal lol.  Either way, it made for some great memories and good laughs.

This is where things got real interesting.  Dylan refused to get in pictures with everyone, so Andy decided he would take care of it.  He chased him around the house, cornered him in the kitchen by trapping him in a corner with the kitchen table and then carried him upside down into the living room.  The whole time he was squirming and kicking trying to get away.  LOL

Afterwards, we went home so the boys could find their Easter baskets and relaxed the rest of the afternoon.  We had Easter dinner back at Scott and Cici's and then went to my parents house for dessert.
