Big Sister!! 15 weeks already!

Thats right...Brooklyn is going to be a BIG SISTER!! She doesn't have much to say about it yet lol but I think she is pretty excited to have a playmate so close in age! The boys are all excited too!  I think they miss the days of holding little Brooklyn.  She no longer allows people to hold and cradle her..she is too busy and too nosey!

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and due December 21st!  I found out I was pregnant when little Brooklyn was only 3 months old!  It came as a surprise to Derek and I and we were stressed out to say the least for a while.  I felt like I would be taking away my attention from Brooklyn way too soon and that it would affect her negatively.  I stressed about how we would handle things financially and what we would do about bedrooms and space.  We decided that things would work out one way or the other and we would just have to make it work!  We have gotten use to the idea and are now excited! I was very nervous to tell people because I didn't think that they would be excited for us...I thought people would think we were crazy to have them so close together, or that we didn't need another kid, especially when we already had 4 kids!  Finally, I decided I didn't care what people thought because it was our life not theirs.  This new baby is a gift from God and will be loved to the moon and back!  Obviously Brooklyn was meant to have a very close brother or sister! I think and hope that they will grow up to be best friends! They will be almost exactly 1 year apart!

So at 15 weeks:
* this pregnancy is exactly like Brooklyn's
* it has been smooth sailing so far...I was on progesterone for the first 12 weeks...no problems so far!
* very very little nausea in the first trimester...almost non now
* was very tired in the first trimester..feeling better now
* no cravings...still prefer to eat fresh fruit and cheese...just like with Brooklyn
* babies heart beat at 8 weeks appt. was 180....at 13 weeks it was 160
* not showing yet
* the psychic thinks she sees it being another girl :) (Carrie had a party and asked her)

No pictures...because there is not much to show lol

June is gone...6 months!

Wow...June flew by!

I can't believe today is July 1st!  June was a crazy busy month and I never got a chance to update! June was full of baseball and baby's firsts!  All three boys finished up their baseball seasons and decided to try out for all-stars.  Zachary and Colton both made a team!  They were pretty pumped!  Poor Dylan didn't make it this year, but a LOT of kids tried out in his age group and it was his first year playing baseball.  Dylan had an awesome season and made a lot of progress in both his attitude about playing and his swing! He was pretty upset he didn't make an all star team but I think now that we are in the midst of summer he is loving the fact that he can swim and play and do whatever he wants and doesn't have to worry about practice or games.  The other two have had practice quite a few times during the week and have games all over the place, but they seem to love it.  Colton has done great in the all-star season and has started pitching.  He loves pitching...but not playing outfield!  Zachary has done amazing as well!  His confidence has improved this year which has done him a world of good!  He even hit the winning run at last nights game!  Unfortunately it is hard for me to make a lot of games depending on weather and time of day.  The field has no shade and poor little Brooklyn would fry out there in the sun!  And there is no keeping her in a stroller sitting still for more than 10-15 minutes!

Brooklyn has become a little person in last month!  Well almost 2 months since she will be 7 months in a week :(  She is getting big so fast!  It is impossible to keep that baby girl still...she is always on the go!   I can't believe how she changing and growing everyday!

At 6 months Brooklyn:
* is growing like a weed
* is weighing in at 20lbs 10ounces and 27 3/4 inches (lost some weight from being sick)
* is in the 94%tile for her height and weight
* is in the 100%tile for her head circumference
* loves to sit up on her own and play with toys
* loves loves loves her jumper and will sit in it and play for hours
