At 8 months old Brooklyn:
* is crawling
* is standing
* is starting to cruise along furniture (but not too well yet)
* loves to play on the floor with her toys
* pulls herself up all the time
* tries to walk along furniture (and up my belly) :)
* still loves music
* loves her glow seahorse and sleeps with it all the time
* loves her v-tech puppy, Violet, the music calms her when upset, and she laughs when it says her name
* Cut a top tooth at the very end of 8 months (top side tooth next to the missing middle teeth)
* loves playing with her brothers
* eats like a champ!
* will eat nothing that is mushy or pureed
* loves to eat kiwi, peaches, toast, eggs, garbanzo beans, noodles, pasta, chicken n biscuits, french toast, cheerios, puffs, mandarin oranges, anything anyone else is eating really. I usually just share my dinner with her
* is getting better at using her sippy cup
* loves drinking from a straw but usually gets too much and coughs
* went on her first beach vacation...hated the sand and water unless she was on my lap
* is finally sleeping in her crib completely! No more swing, bouncer, or rock n play at all..
* weighs in at 25.4 pounds!!
* is wearing 18 month clothing
* is getting into everything she shouldn't be!
* can find a cord, shoe, cell phone, remote control, or iPad like no other!
* doesn't sit or lay still to get dressed, get a bath, or get her diaper changed
* gives smooches when asked
* gives hugs when picked up
* snuggles at bedtime / nap time
