Brissy Bear is 5 months old

It doesn't seem that long ago I could feel her little and big kicks in my belly.  Its almost been half a year since this little peanut completed our family.  She is the happiest more lovable baby in the world.  She is  a pure joy and can make anyones day better just by looking at her.  She smiles a huge gummy smile at everyone and giggles and laughs all the time.  She is really starting to show her personality and I think she is going to be very much like her big sister.  She seems to be very laid back and relaxed.  She is content to just hang out in her bumbo, jumper, or floor mat for a half hour or more.  We just got her a high chair and she likes to sit in that now too and play with toys.  Brooklyn of course thinks that she should be eating so she tries to throw her food onto Bristol's tray.  I did attempt to feed Bristol some cereal with a spoon since the Dr. thinks she should be eating vegetables and fruits by now but she was not having it.  She just spit it all out and made a horrible face.  She is content with her baba for now and so am I.  I do not want her to grow up any faster than she already is.  She is still only drinking about 4 ounces at a feeding so I know for sure she is not starving or she would be drinking more at each feeding. She just loves to sit and watch everyone around her.  She giggles at Brooklyn and Zoey all the time.

So at 5 months Bristol:

My 17 month old monster!

I no longer have my toddler...I now have a monster!  Something has switched in that child and she is right into her terrible twos!  She has good days and bad days and can change her mood in seconds.  She doesn't like to be told no, and if she is told no, she throws a screaming fit like you wouldn't believe.  On her good days she is pleasant and playful.  She loves to be outside and is never in a bad mood when she's outside.  She will run around and play for hours if she is able.  She loves her sand and water table but mostly loves to throw the sand into the water or onto the deck.  She is saying a few more words but still doesn't talk much.  She grunts and screeches to communicate lol.  I have seen a very sweet, loving side to her that melts my heart!  Every morning when she wakes up and from her crib hears her sister babbling out in the living room she lights up and immediately wants to go see sissy!  When Bristol is upset she gets concerned and has to go see whats wrong with her.  She sits next to her on the floor or couch and always pats her head and says "dooooog".  She loves her sister and hopefully it will stay that way!  I would love for them to be best friends.

Easter 2014

Easter was so much fun this year!  The Easter Bunny came to our house and brought lots of goodies! The boys baskets were hidden is great spots and they all needed help to find them.  Of course they lose patience very quickly when it comes to this type of thing. The Easter Bunny didn't hide the Bristol's baskets this year since she is too young to find it.  Brooklyn's basket was hidden this year (in an easy to find spot) and she though it was hilarious when she found it sitting on the computer chair. The boys all got new socks, wiffle balls and bats, gift cards, and lots of candy!  The girls got Dolls, teethers, bubbles, chalk, books, and some M&M mini's.
We went for breakfast at Tomasso's and then over to Nana and Poppa's for their Easter Egg Hunt.  Bristol slept through that whole thing but the boys and Brooklyn had fun!  The boys make it their mission to find as much loot as possible and to get more stuff than anyone else.  There were two hidden eggs this year with 5 dollars in each of them.  It took them forever to find them, but Dylan found them both!  He was pretty excited and made out with over 18 dollars from the egg hunt! Brooklyn was more excited about everyone else's stuff than her own.  She got some pretty neat chalk, a book, and a few dollars to put in her piggy bank.  We attempted to get a good picture of all 5 kids but that was a joke.  Brooklyn refused to sit still and it was impossible to get them all to smile and look at the same time.

Before the Easter Bunny hid all the baskets

Colton was the first to find his!
