Brisol is 9 months and into everything!

Bristol is well on her way to following in her sister's footsteps.  She has grown up a lot in the past month...She is no longer my little baby but almost toddler.  Only 3 short months until she is 1 year old. Hard to believe.  We are going to be testing her soon to see if she has outgrown her soy and milk protein allergy.  We have already been challenging her system with some different foods.  She does really well with all of her baby food...even the crazy combination ones. She loves to eat.  Just the other day we tried cherrios for the first time and she did pretty good.  She did really good getting them into her mouth but still needs some practice chewing them up and keeping them in her mouth.  Most importantly, they didn't bother her belly at all.  I am hopeful that she is past the intolerance and will be able to eat normally very soon.  She is becoming very playful and interactive.  She loves peek a boo and to be tickled under her chin. She is a complete doll baby who is content most of the time to play with her toys and watch the world around her. 

At 9 months Bristol:
*has mastered crawling and gets around pretty fast!
*loves to eat her baby food and is starting to eat solids....kinda
*babbles dadadadadadad and mamamamamam
*can screech louder than I have ever heard a human screech before...ear piercing
*can pull herself to standing
*loves the alphabet train and activity table
*does not sleep...ever!  Short naps and up several times a night..oy
*likes green veggies the best
*laughs and laughs at Brooklyn's antics
*is not impressed by Zoey and pays her little attention lol
*still likes her baby einstein jumper
*is forward facing in her big girl car seat...and much much happier in the car!
*wears 9-12 month clothing...mostly 12 month
*weighs 23 pounds
*wears size 4 diapers
*is into everything!!!

Brooklyn @ 21 months

Oh my dear baby is almost 2.  A few short months and we will be celebrating her 2nd birthday with friends and family. I can't believe how grown up she is becoming.  I have seen a lot of changes in her this past month..good and bad lol.  She has really learned to throw a fit when she doesn't get her way. She will throw things and yell as loud as she can.  This usually ends her in a bit of trouble and a trip to time out.  She copies every word we say and listens to everything.  She has repeated a few swear words so we are really really trying to be cautious about what we say in front of her.  I don't want a trash mouth 2 year old!  She has also become my little helper.  She has always liked to help with Bristol as much as she could but recently she tries to help out even more.  Derek said that the other day he made a bottle for Bristol and set it on the table while he went to grab something.  When he got back he couldn't find where he had set the bottle.  He said he looked all over and was getting mad because he knew he had set it on the table.  He then saw that Brooklyn had climbed up and got the bottle, took it to Bristol, laid her down, and gave her the bottle to hold.  So sweet.  She also likes to take wipes and clean messes she makes.  The other day she spilled water and I told her to go get a towel to wipe it up (not really thinking she would) and she did!  She walked into the kitchen, grabbed the dish towel, brought it back and wiped up the water.  I was so proud of her!  Haha its the little things in life.

So at 21 months Brooklyn:
- is really starting to grow up
- refuses to eat much
- loves her milk and baba
- runs around like a crazy lady
- throws the ultimate temper tantrum
- loves her sister and is always concerned about where she is
- says a TON of words
- repeats everything she hears
- knows the color pink lol and points it out on things
- loves animals and making animal sounds
- always wants to eat popsicles (popfoo)
- will randomly say 8,9 ....of G,H haha
- loves Elmo, Yo Gabba Gabba (Daboo), and Doc McStuffins
- still doesn't like to sleep through the night...oy
- is wearing 2T pants and 24 month - 3T shirts..depending on how its made
- is wearing size 4 diapers
- weighs about 31pounds
