So close now!!

Things have been going well. Colton is still playing indoor soccer and all three boys are playing basketball.  Keeps us busy but its better than sitting in the house being bored.  I found out quickly that three bored boys equals lots of fighting and bickering!!
Zachary had his 11th birthday on November 19th.  All he asked everyone for this year was GameStop gift cards so that he could buy a PlayStation Vita...a new handheld game system just like every other one he has but you can't tell him that!  Anyway he had a great birthday and got everything he needed to buy the system along with some cool clothes and other things.

Blowing out the candles!

ZW1 getting his official agent shirt...lol someday this boy will be famous...or so he thinks :)

Opening more presents

Well Brooklyn is still cooking in my belly....she is well done now and can come out anytime she wants.     This momma would prefer sooner than later, things are getting uncomfortable.  I see the doctor ever week now until she comes.  Last week I saw a midwife instead of Dr. Herbst but that was ok.  She said everything seemed fine and there were no problems, so basically this is a big waiting game now!  I would really like to meet this little girl and I think Zoey would also like to meet her.  Zoey has her head on my belly as I am typing this right now.  Kinda like this:

Zoey cuddles with Brooklyn every single night and seems to know that something is going on in my belly.  Brooklyn likes when Zoey is around too because she always kicks while Zoey is laying on my belly.  Too cute!  Not much is new with Brooklyn except that we are 38-39 weeks and I am itching for her to come out and meet us!  I go back to the doctor again this week so hopefully everything will still be fine and she will come on her own soon!

So at 38-39 weeks:
* Brooklyn is about the size of a small watermelon
* Dr. Herbst believes she weighs about 7lbs 10 oz. right now
* There is little room for her to move in my belly but that does not stop her from doing aerobics in there
* My stomach is able to take on shapes that I never knew were possible..sometimes it hurts a little
* My belly button feels like it may explode when she kicks it
* My hands are feet are swelling a bit more than before...sometimes I have cankles :(
* My right hand feels like it is completely asleep all the time...and it drives me insane!!
* Brooklyn likes to creep the students out at school but morphing my stomach into different shapes at school :)
* People tell me all the time that my belly is too small to be 39 weeks....they are wrong..
* I miss being able to sit without feeling like I can't breathe or I am squishing my child
* She still loves her music and dances to it every night..maybe she will be able to sing since I can't
* I keep buying her clothes and she will never be able to wear them all
* We bought her a baby book and her first stocking for Christmas :)

I am getting beyond excited to meet this little girl and to hold her in our arms.  I can't wait to see Derek with a little girl.  It will be so different from having three boys in the house!

38-39 weeks...I think the belly has dropped a bit! YAY

37 weeks..More meltdowns...Please hurry!

I'm hoping now that I am full term this little baby comes out soon!  I have been annoyed and irritated with everything.  I cry at the drop of a hat and am driving myself and my husband crazy lol.  I have had two big meltdowns this past week...I've been good this whole pregnancy (except the ice cream incident) and this week has been all down hill.

I got home from work on Friday was disappointed to see that the construction company has still not come to start building the addition.  We closed two weeks ago and they got their first check, so they can start anytime.  I suppose Hurricane Sandy is their excuse for being behind lol.  Anyway, I walked in the door and looked at the mail and noticed that I received a letter from our original bank saying that my checking account over-drafted due to my paycheck being deposited into our new bank already.  I, of course, panicked and jumped on the computer to try and figure out what was going on with our money.      I couldn't get onto the online banking they signed us up for because the username and password were not working.  I had no way to get any money out of the bank because I didn't have our account numbers or debit cards.  And my biggest issue was that I couldn't pay bills because I had no checks for this new account.  I started crying and sobbing uncontrollably until Derek finally talked me down and I called the bank to figure it out.  They were not much help on the phone but did help me figure out the online banking.  So then I started crying again...until Derek convinced me to go to the bank and talk to the guy who has helped us with out loan and mortgage for the addition.  I went in and as soon as I saw him and he said whats up...I started crying again..UGH embarassing!!  Anyway, I was able to calm myself down and explain why I was panicking...He helped me get things straightened out and that was the end.  NO NEED FOR TEARS AND PANIC!!

Yesterday, Derek and I went to Elmira to get some baby things that we still needed.  Of course, I think we need everything, and Derek thinks we need only what is necessary.  So as we are discussing burp clothes he gets frustrated with me and I start crying...in the middle of Target!!  I can't help it...I felt stupid but at the time I felt warranted lol  I calmed down and we went on our way...the rest of the day was a mess because I was moody and miserable and he was trying his best to put up with it but I knew he was irritated too so that made me even more irritated..
HURRY BABY HURRY!!

Anyway...next week is my last appointment before I start going weekly! Yay!!  Hoping for a November baby! Derek and I had maternity pictures taken last weekend..can't wait to post some!

So at 37 weeks:
* Brooklyn is rocking in rolling in there!
* I have all of her clothes, blankets, toys, and sheets washed and ready to go
* I have her swing and everything all set up and waiting
* I have almost everything organized and put away for her arrival
* My rings no longer fit on my hand (they do, but not comfortably at all..and its real hard to get them off my hand)
* My right hand is numb and tingly...apparently its normal
* I pee quite frequently..even though there is no pee to be had
* I am getting anxious and excited about how life is going to change
* My blood pressure was high at my last appointment...Dr. not worried..it was the top number
* People constantly tell me my belly is small...thank you I know!  Dr says it is because I am tall and have a long torso so there is room to spread out.  This is fine with me, less to shrink later!
* Strangers comment on my belly all the time...but then look shocked when I tell them I am due in 4 weeks..
* I am very moody and irritated at nothing and everything
* Headaches are coming back again..ugh
* It is hard to sit up from laying down and to move around in general
* Bending over to pick something up is a work out in itself
* Hands and feet are swollen and feel tight to bend and wiggle toes and fingers

 36-37 weeks...
I think it looks like I have dropped since last post!  Anyone else think so??

Trick or Treat!!

Well...football and soccer are finally over. Now on to basketball season...which starts next week!  Dylan had his end of the season football party last weekend and had a blast.  He got a little trophy and couldn't have been more excited about it.  He really liked football this year and is already talking about next year.  We are happy because he has always been a very quiet and shy kid, as soon as he started playing this year with all the other kids he came out of his shell and his confidence went through the roof!  He is even talking about playing indoor baseball in January and then little league in the spring!  Yay Dylan!!
Unfortunately the day of the party was chilly and rainy so all the kids are soaked and sweaty from playing football in the rain. They didn't mind of course!

The other excitement the past week was Hurricane Sandy coming to town!  Thankfully, we lucked out and only got a little rain and wind.  It was forecasted to be much worse than it actually was.  As a precaution they let us out of school early on Monday and cancelled school on Tuesday.  They did this in case the power went out and were not able to contact people about school closings or delays.  It ended up being a wasted day off but better safe than sorry!  So of course in preparation for Sandy they cancelled and rescheduled and rescheduled again Trick or Treat night.  The boys did end up getting to go Trick or Treating on Wednesday night.  Zachary didn't dress up this year....he says he is too old :(  He is only 10!! Growing too fast!  Since the weeks have been busy we didn't get to carve our pumpkins until the night of trick or treat.  So as soon as the boys got home, they got to work!

Zachary, Dylan, and Colton (me helping Colton...a lot) carving pumpkins after school

Zachary working hard on his fire face pumpkin

The finished products!!  They all came out pretty good
Zachary's, Dylan's, and Colton's

After pumpkins we had a quick dinner and started dressing for Halloween!!  Dylan and Colton dressed up and had a great time!!

Colton was a skull ninja...he loved having his face painted and wanted lots of blood on his face lol

Dylan...he was a hobo...fits his laid back personality!  He played the role awesome and had fun doing it!  He had a fake mustache and a set of fake teeth with a diamond in the front tooth! Too funny!

We packed everyone in the car and headed over to Scott and Cici's to meet up with Carter and Lilley.  Carter was dressed up as the witch doctor from Scooby Doo and Lilley was a pretty little kitty!  Too cute!
All the boys ready to go trick or treating...minus Zachary (the 10 year old going on 25 year old)
Colton, Carter, and Dylan

Lilley and I
All pretty as a kitty!  We tried to get her to drink milk out of a bowl like cat but she wasn't having any part of it lol
