Troubles & Triumphs of a Growing Family: Summer time...but schools not out yet :(

Today is June 1st....and Athens still has 15 days of school left :( boo! The teachers as well as the students are all ready to be done for the year. Its been a crazy year, but next school year should be even more interesting. We will have a new principal and vice principal...and I am going to be teaching 2 English classes! I am super excited to start something new! Since we don't get out until the end of June this year we only have about 7 weeks of summer. Plus I have three weeks of summer school and a week at the beach...sooo really only about 3 weeks to get ready for the next school year. No relaxing this summer! I am excited to be home with my babies though and to be able to put them down for naps and get them up in the morning and not miss anything they do.

Spring has been pretty chilly and rainy...we have had a handful of nice sunny days so we take advantage and spend as much time outside as we can. Brooklyn loves being outside, especially if her sister and brothers are out there with her. She would spend the entire day outside playing. Baseball is just wrapping up for Colton and Zach. They both had great seasons. Soon they will try out for All-Stars. Then after All-Stars, football will start.

Brooklyn and daddy...it was getting chilly and neither of us wanted to get in. This was the only way to make her happy and for us to stay as dry as possible.
