Troubles & Triumphs of a Growing Family: Bristol is 11 months...ridiculous!

Ridiculous because my last baby is almost not a baby! In one month she will be a toddler...always my baby but soon a toddler :( She has overcome quite a few obstacles and is doing soo well! We hae been experimenting a little with different foods to see what she can tolerate. She does not do well with solid of chunky foods at all so its difficult to really know the difference. She loves her pureed baby food and doesn't have much interest in anything else...she will chew on other foods but ends up spitting them out as she is "chewing". She gags on anything with small chunks...like some stage 3 baby foods. We have given her unbuttered toast and she does well as far as the soy...but not sure how much she is really eating since she mutilates it and spits it out lol. And of course Brooklyn often tries to share her snacks with Bristol so she's gotten a hold of goldfish and other cracker type things. We have not trialed anything dairy yet as that is a greater risk for continued intolerance. She still refuses to hold her bottle most of the time....oy! I have a feeling she is going to be my drama queen.

She started walking and it starting to get really good at it. She can make it all the way across the room! However, she has yet to master being able to stand without the help of holding onto something. She is content just motoring around the house exploring new things and getting into trouble with Brooklyn. I have a feeling they are going to be quite a pair!

So at 11 months Bristol:
- is walking all over the place
- is a momma's girl
- loves to eat green veggies and bananas
- loves to eat veggie straws ....the only solid food she really eats
- repeats some simple words after people...uh oh, dog, dada, mama, baba, hi, and Aunt Erica was able to get her to say pretty...no lie!
- wears 18 month clothes
- size 4 shoes
- size 4 diapers
- loves to play with the dogs ears and to climb all over her
- follows her sister and brothers everywhere
- still doesn't sleep through the night
- got her first cold
- has 7 teeth
- loves to make clicking noises with her mouth
- still kicks her feet like crazy
- screams when Brooklyn takes toys from her...
- has the biggest sweetest smile ever!
