Troubles & Triumphs of a Growing Family: Brooklyn

The thought of my first baby almost being 2 makes me very sad. Where has the time gone?! It seems like yesterday she was a tiny baby being brought home from the hospital. It absolutely amazes me how much she has changed within the last couple months. She is getting so smart...too smart! She is loving the holiday season and everything that comes along with it. She is becoming little miss independent and wants to do everything on her own. She talks in full sentences and will tell you a story from something that happened a few days ago. She is on the go and does not stop from the minute she wakes up until she crashes at night. Sometimes we can get her to nap but often times she has no interest. Her terrible twos are in full swing but now that she is talking there are fewer melt downs. She seems to have herself under control a bit more now. Don't get me wrong, she is still a complete monster but a more calm monster lol

At 23 months Brooklyn:

- talks non stop
- tells us not to touch Brookin or talk to Brookie when she is mad lol
- is very smart
- knows the colors orange, yellow, pink, and purple really well....can also get blue and brown when she wants to
- can count to 10 with a little help....she skips 3 and 6
- she can identify her name when written
- she loves Minnie and Mickey mouse
- is starting to not watch Yo Gabba Gabba as much (finally!!!) She is now into Dora and Friends
- will not watch Dora the Explorer....only Big Dora!
- is obsessed with the moon....we have to look for it almost every night
- is doing better with milk...hopefully no intolerance!
- weighs 34 pounds!!
- wears a 3T
- is no longer bow legged! Her legs have really straightened out the last couple months
- likes to play with toy figures...
- plays well with her sissy...sometimes
- still likes to take toys away from Bristol
- worries about where everyone is when they leave or she doesn't know where they went
-is an absolute blessing <3
