Tom's pool and the water bubble

Tom Bennett was a life saver this summer!  Since Carrie and Tory moved, and Nana and Papa moved we are pool less! And after spending a week at the beach with unlimited access to a pool the girls were not happy to not be able to swim whenever they wanted.  Tom invited us to use his pool whenever we wanted!  At first I was hesitant because we didn't know Tom all that well...the rest of the family did though.  But after a few weeks of debating back and forth I figured why not go since he offered...a few times!  So we went and the girls of course loved it!  So now everytime we walk by his house they talk about Tom's pool.  They enjoyed spending quite a few afternoons in the pool enjoying the water and learning to jump and swim!

 One Sunday afternoon the girls and I ventured over to Nana and Papa's to hang out with Carter.  We decided to make a water bubble!  We took a thick piece of plastic sheeting and duck taped the edges closed.  We then put the hose in and filled it with water and food coloring.  To our surprise the bubble held up really well and the kids all had a blast playing and jumping on it.  We did have quite a few leaks but that just made it more fun! It took a lot of water to fill but by the end of the day when we finally popped it, Nana and Papa's grass was looking great!
